Dear Self

I fall in love with you more with each passing day. I love the woman that I see in any reflection. I appreciate you for allowing my mind to stay strong when my light has been dim. I am proud of you for not letting the world harden my heart or dismantle my spirit. I've come so far and in that time I have become beacon of light that continues to inspire and ignite those I come across. I accept you fully and I trust you with my heart and my emotions. I set boundaries and protect my energy. I have out grown people pleasing and learned how to say mo without creating a war within myself. I am aware of my thoughts. although I have not completely ceased negative thoughts and self criticism, I acknowledge when I am and i remind myself to be gentle, kind and patient with you. It is okay to not be okay. Life will always be a balance of both light and dark. Every moment of pain and sadness is merely just an opportuniy for growth. There is no one in this world that can love you more than I do.
